Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to inform you about arrangements for the last day of term, which is on Wednesday 20th December.
Students should report to their form rooms at 8.45am for the start of the day. All students will be involved in learning activities until the end of Period 3, at 11.15am.
At 11.15am we will dismiss years 7, 8, 9, 10 and the Sixth Form.
Year 11 will then be dismissed at 11.25am.
Free school meals will be available for those eligible to take away with them.
Next school term will start for students on Monday 8th January.
We have moved Form Time to the start of the day from January onwards. This means that each day will start with a 30 minute Form Time, before all students go to Lesson 1 at 9:15am.
All students should go straight to their form rooms at the start of the day, 8.45am, on Monday 8th January 2024. We think this is a very important change to the school day, with a sharper focus on ensuring all our students are ready to learn, with a positive attitude to learning for lesson 1.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I hope you all get to spend meaningful time with family and friends.
