QKA students take part in ‘Crime Scene to Courtroom’ workshop

This week, our Year 12 criminology students took part in a ‘Crime Scene to Courtroom’ workshop with former Detective Superintendent, Paul Cunningham from Zakon Crime and Investigation Skills Training.

Our students followed a murder investigation from the initial crime scene, where they had to examine evidence and analysis statements, to the courtroom where they played various roles within the court. They also looked at the role of crime scene investigators and the techniques they would use to solve a crime.

Our students were brilliant and had some very impressive knowledge and ideas! Paul commented that they were a really engaging group who showed great logic and insight throughout the day.

Well done Year 12 criminology, great work!
