We are changing the way that we communicate with you about events concerning your child’s life in school. Previously we used SMS In Touch as the primary method of communication, but this is changing to an ‘App’ based system called SIMS Parent on mobile phones and tablets.
This new system is free, easy to set up and use whilst also enabling you to view information including messages, school calendar of key dates, attendance and timetables for your child. From the App parents can respond to messages and update key information such as contact address and phone numbers as well as individual areas of consent.
We truly believe that this is a valuable new facility that will enable you to actively engage in your child's education here at Queen Katharine Academy.
All parents will receive an invitation by email to use the system, please go to the Google Play or Apple Store where you can download the SIMS Parent App by Capita SIMS in advance of your invite. We will use the email address that we currently hold on file for you to do this.
