23/03/2020– IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDING UPDATE – SCHOOL CLOSURE
Queen Katharine Academy fully recognises its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in its care. This duty of care will continue throughout the school closure and designated staff will be available to contact if you have any worries or concerns.
If you have a safeguarding concern about a child or young person you can contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead on the following email addresses;

In an emergency where a childs life is at risk please contact the police on 999 providing as much detail as possible.
You can also share any concerns with the NSPCC by contacting 0808 800 5000, via email on help@nspcc.org.uk or go online https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/reporting-abuse/report/
If you or someone you know is suffering with their mental health please contact your GP via the phone alternatively if there is a mental health crisis please call NHS 111 option 2. Please avoid attending A&E for any non-emergencies.
