QKA - Marking The 75th Anniversary Of VE Day

The 8th May 2020 (this Friday) marks 75 years since VE (Victory in Europe) Day when the Second World War came to an end in Europe.

To celebrate this, we would like to collect pieces of work which show students learning about the Second World War and giving thanks to those who served (like Colonel Tom Moore).  Students could send us a drawing, piece of writing or a video or photo.

If you are looking for some inspiration, these links provide a wide range of resources, videos and printable sheets (including bunting!) that can be used to celebrate it!  https://ve-vjday75.gov.uk/toolkit/

The British Legion also has a lot of resources about VE Day and is encouraging everyone to join in and celebrated from home.  They have resources packs for KS2 & 3 at this link:  https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/remembrance/teaching-remembrance?seg=WPDW3B
