37 QKA students achieved the Industrial Cadets Silver Award qualification, recognised by many national and international employers
This term 37 of our students attended a week-long accredited IT work experience programme. The programme was called Digital Explorers and was designed and delivered by Tata Consultancy Services.
The Industrial Cadets aims to reduce the declining workforce in the UK’s industrial, technological and scientific sectors. They provide high-quality work place experiences and aim to connect young people and employers in these industries.
At the end of the programme, each student successfully achieved an Industrial Cadets Silver Award qualification, which is supported and recognised by many national and international employers. These include Airbus, BP, Siemens, Jaguar and Land Rover. Some of our students were even rewarded with a Fitbit for their proposal. Well done to all our students, you represented the school fantastically and we cannot wait to see what you do next.
