Part of my role is to ensure that the quality of education in Year 12 is at a high standard that you are making the required progress to move up to Year 13. I also oversee the work done by your Progress Leader, manage the application processes for Sixth Form and the systems and structures around data, monitoring, and timetabling.

I am responsible for supporting, promoting, and monitoring the academic progress, personal development, and achievement of each sixth form student, with the critical aim of fostering an environment where students feel safe. We have developed a positive learning culture through our ambitious tutor time programme and sixth form policies.

Sixth Form Student Support Officer

I am here to ensure that you are making the required progress in each of your lessons by supporting you through your time here. This is through effective timetabling of various combinations of subjects/curriculum pathways and study periods. I ensure that our sixth form policies are adhered to and I also process bursary applications and payments if sixth form students require some financial assistant to support them through their academic studies.

I am here to ensure you succeed and will closely monitor attendance and punctuality in line with our Sixth form policy. I play a crucial role in ensuring that all students receive exceptional support throughout the entire academic day. I am trained in first aid and safeguarding.

Sixth Form Study Centre Supervisor

I monitor the sixth form study areas and develop a rapport with students in the room to create a calm and professional working environment. Ensuring students are using the work area respectfully and using specific interventions working along side teachers to improve progress.
