Activities your child could take part in include:

  • Social Time Extra-Curricular— There are various activities and clubs during lunch time and after school.  Examples include board games, Lego club, art, STEM and sports clubs.
  • Homework Extra-Curricular —Our Study Hub is held in our Library after school where students can attend to complete homework. Some subjects also offer lunch time catch up sessions.
  • Sport—students regularly take part in local and regional competitions across a range of disciplines. There are also various sports clubs taking place after school which differ each term.
  • Music and Performing Arts – including a range of music and performing arts clubs, individual and group instrumental lessons.
  • Duke of Edinburgh – starting from Year 9, including Bronze and Silver Awards at QKA. Students can complete the Gold Award with our partner Academy, TDA.
  • Combined Cadet Force (Army Section) - starting from Year 8, students gain knowledge and experience in navigation, fieldcraft, first aid, adventurous training and much more.
  • Trips – both subject related field trips and fun trips such as visits abroad, trips to universities, museum visits, theme parks and theatre visits to name a few. If your child is interested in a specific subject, they can ask their teacher whether there is a related extra-curricular provision.
