Community Liaison Workers
What do our QKA Community Liaison Workers do?
Our CLWs...
- provide regular mentoring to students
- provide support in meetings with parents and / or students
- are involved in and help plan our cultural celebrations
- maintain regular contact with parents
- run drop-in lunch clubs for students
- liaise with year teams to offer support to students and families when it is needed
Meet the Team
Carla supports our Portuguese and Portuguese Creole-speaking students, Irena supports our Roma students, particularly those who are Czech, Slovakian speaking, Sahdia supports our Punjabi and Urdu speaking students, Edy supports our Romanian speaking students whilst Barbara supports our African students.
