Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Queen Katherine Academy!
I’m Mark Taylor, the new Principal, and I’m thrilled to lead this remarkable school. Our diverse community is a wonderful place for students, parents, and staff alike. With more than 20 years of experience in education, I’m excited to bring my passion for learning and growth to QKA.
At Queen Katharine Academy, we are guided by our core values: Respect, Ambition, and Responsibility. Our vision is to foster not only academic excellence, but also personal growth and social responsibility. We believe in creating a supportive and positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Our curriculum is designed to challenge and engage students, complemented by a wide range of extracurricular activities that promote holistic development. We prioritise pastoral care to ensure that every student feels supported, and our fantastic facilities are equipped with resources that enhance learning and creativity.
My vision for the future of Queen Katharine Academy is one of excellence. I believe in the potential of every student and am committed to helping them achieve their goals. I look forward to collaborating with students, parents, and staff to create an inclusive school community.
We pride ourselves on the strong sense of community at our school. The relationships between students, staff, and parents are the foundation of our success. As part of Thomas Deacon Education Trust (TDET), we’re also connected to a wider community of schools across Cambridgeshire, sharing expertise and working together to give every child the best start. I am excited about the opportunities for collaboration and partnership that lie ahead.
