Young Carers Day - 11th March
Young carers are people under 18 who help look after someone - often a family member - who
cannot cope without their help.
Does this sound like you? Young carers have so much responsibility on their shoulders. They need
more support.
We want to ensure every young carer has the same chance to learn, grow and thrive as their friends who are not carers.

Community Cafe - Every Monday
Come along to our Community Cafe every Monday between 3:10pm and 4pm. This is an opportuinty to drop in and ask questions, obtain information and get a free drink and snack!
The cafe can help with:
- After school club queries
- Free school meals
- Uniform questions
...and so much more!
Our community Food and Clothes store is also open for you to be able to use for access to free food and clothing.

If you or anyone in your family, local groups, or community circles would like to play a role in supporting the academy’s direction and ensuring local voices are heard, we warmly encourage you to get in touch.
End of Term - Friday 19th December
The last day of term for all students is Friday 19th December. All students will eat their lunch as normal at school and then register in their tutor groups at 1.00pm.
At 1.15pm, students will be dismissed from tutor groups and will leave site.
There will be no enrichment clubs running on the last day.

Last day of term
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this message finds you well.
Please be aware that the last day of this academic year, Wednesday 23rd July, will end at 12.30pm for all students.
All students, including those who receive free school meals, will be able to buy their lunch during the morning break time.
